7 Jobs AI Will Transform Into Something Better

Hey there! 👋

I hope this summer is treating you well. I just returned from a 4-day camping trip with the family in the Deschutes National Forest. We recorded 4 tantrums, 3 ticks, 2 minor injuries, and DOZENS of mosquito bites. 🦟

I came home to a full email inbox. It took a few hours to work through it, but I was pleasantly surprised to find that I sold 2 domain names while I was away. That is the power of passive income from assets.

Today, I'm going to share with you how I made those domain sales and a new article about how a.i. will make our jobs BETTER. Enjoy!

A.i. Will Transform Jobs Into Something Better

Every time a new AI tool launches, the same conversation happens. People panic. Social media fills with predictions about which jobs are "dead." Headlines compete to be the most alarming. And millions of hardworking employees go to bed wondering if their career has an expiration date.

I've been there. I'm a full-time employee with four kids. I don't have the luxury of career anxiety keeping me up at night (my toddler handles that just fine). But I also can't afford to be naive about what's happening in the job market.

Here's what I've come to believe after using AI daily for over a year: The conversation about AI and jobs is almost always framed the wrong way. We keep asking "which jobs will AI replace?" when we should be asking "how will AI change the work these jobs actually do?"

The answer, for most careers, is surprisingly encouraging. AI isn't making jobs disappear. It's making the boring, repetitive parts of jobs disappear, and leaving the interesting, meaningful, higher-value parts for humans.

A Look Inside My Portfolio

Over the weekend, I sold two domain names:

strength.bot ($50)

aspenrv.com ($288)

Here's how I did it:

The process is quite simple; here's the quick summary:

  • I hand-registered both domains. This means that after conducting research, I found these names to be unregistered and registered them from scratch.
  • I registered aspenrv.com on GoDaddy on November 21, 2025 for $12.19
  • I registered strength.bot on Dynadot on April 28, 2026 for $10.88.
  • I listed aspenrv.com on Afternic and strength.bot on Dynadot auctions.
  • Aspenrv.com sold for $288 and after Afternic fees I net $201.60. This is a return of 1,553% over 6 months.
  • Strength.bot sold for $50 which is $45 after Dynadot fees. This is a return of 313% over 48 days.

I prefer Afternic marketplace for more exposure to potential customers and Dynadot marketplace for lower fees and better features.

I believe that domain names are digital "real estate" that deserve a spot in almost any portfolio. The minimum cost of owning a domain name is $10.88 per year (the registration cost offered by Dynadot).
